The intent of this page was to see if we could learn if "you are what you drive" is true. Funny, as I posted these pics and reviewed the cars, I'm not sure I can draw a conclusion. There's sports cars, utility vehicles, and cars that are just ready to put a bunch of miles on. Anyway, I've tried to make a comment on each one. Hopefully, this is somewhat interesting.  At a minimum, cars are a big investment and it was a history lesson for Linda and I on what investments we've made and how those investments turned out. roughly in order of acquisition Camaro <<get a pic of original to replace the stock one here>> Great Car. Sharing some of the entertainment from when we were little. Figure I better share these now or they'll be gone. My favorite was the Herculoids. Powerful heroes. Cool Characters. Always battling. Sacrificing for the other guy. It was actually a pretty cool way to learn some values. Also, loved Lancelot Link, Secret Chimp. Apes played all the main characters. Pretty creative and funny. Christian Music We love the old hymns, but a lot of the modern music - not so much. However, we have been urged to try to incorporate this into our lives. Here's a couple we like.  Many of our Modern Day Generation have very interesting careers: Chris, Great Grandson of Louie and Mabel Hinrichs, continues the family farming tradition: We're also proud that Chris is on the Board for the School and the Church in his area. Also, proud of his wife Bethany who is a Nurse, helping people. Betty said that Courtney is a Nurse Practitioner working with 5 Vascular Surgeons. We're very proud of you Courtney. Alyssa has also chosen the Nursing Profession From Alyssa: " After working with epilepsy patients and seeing brain surgery I fell in love with surgery and went back to school for nursing. In just two years, I landed my dream job in a plastic surgery office." Betty's son Tyler works for GE Got input?  Family Recipes The intent of this page is to share some family favorites. Grandma Fried Chicken (served on top of the pool table/ping pong cover) <<Searching for Grandma's Fried Chicken Recipe. Was there one? Was it just the "fresh" chickens from the back yard?>> She used to host 50 of us and always had a huge table full of great food laid out. Part of that was big pans full of friend chicken. It was the best. Linda's Famous Deep Dish Pizza We were Chicago Deep Dish Pizza lovers. Some of our favorites: Found ourselves in California with no good options, so Linda learned to make deep dish that was even better than Chicago!  Present Day (2022) Generations The intent of this page is to highlight things going on with present day generations:  One great thing that has emerged in this generation is the signing talent of Kevin's daughter Alicia and family. At one point, they made Kevin a CD for his 50th birthday.
