Life Lessons Learned

from Kevin:  Here's a few things I've learned from life. Hope someone finds this useful: Gratitude As I look back on 63 years so far, I'm very grateful for my life experience. As you'll see in the following, there have been challenges and victories, pain and happiness. I guess most people have some mix of this. Over the past couple years, I've been tuning in on being conscious about gratitude. Pulling some words of wisdom from a smart writer probably sums up how I see it now, in much better words than I can create: (Jantz) "The culture we live in bombards us with messages that we should have more, do more, and be more. Driven strongly by social media and advertisements, we're conditioned to believe that what we have isn't enough. That's a recipe for discontent, depression and despair. That's why it's so important to incorporate gratitude into our lives....every day throughout the year. ....gratitude fosters optimism, which strengthens hope. ...
